III. Translation Methods of Chinese Specific Terms
As an important manifestation of culture, language is tightly related with the social life and current affairs around the context. Meanwhile, as China is becoming more and more influential in the modern world, Chinese culture is also playing a more and more important role in the intercultural communication. Translation is a very important way for intercultural communication. Since the target readers in the international communication are different from domestic readers in their interests, thinking patterns and reading habits, we should follow certain principles and skills in translation to achieve effective communication. So this part intends to focus on the study of principles and methods in translating the Chinese specific terms.
