Abstract   Along with the vigorous development of modern world economy, business negotiation activities are emerging。 As a very significant part in commercial activities, businessmen continuously improve their ability by strengthening the study of business etiquette。 What is more critical is that etiquette, an invisible force that can drive the success of business negotiations, not merely makes the two parties involved closer, but ultimately affects the direction and outcome of the negotiations。 Cross-culture communication can eliminate the communication barriers and difficulties between different cultural backgrounds, which can facilitate the application of businessmen’s communication skills in international trade。 The content of business etiquette is of complexity and persity。 This paper focuses on the functions of etiquette in business negotiations and elaborates with concrete cases, by which businessmen and enterprises are reminded of following the etiquette norms and make good use of it to stand firmly and gain rapid growth in today’s fierce market competition。 91200

摘要 伴随着现代经济的蓬勃发展,商务谈判活动应运而生。礼仪作为商务谈判活动中一项非常重要的内容,商务人士通过加强对其学习可以提高自身能力。更为关键的是,礼仪作为一种能够推动商务谈判成功的隐形力量,不仅可以拉近谈判双方的距离,而且最终会影响谈判的方向与结果。跨文化交际则能消除不同文化背景带来的沟通障碍与困难,便于商务人员将文化沟通技巧运用于国际贸易中。礼仪的内容复杂多样,本文着眼于礼仪在商务谈判中的重要作用,结合具体案例加以阐述,以提醒商务人士和企业遵循礼仪规范,善于运用礼仪,在当今激烈的市场竞争中站稳脚跟以及迅速发展。

1。 Introduction

     Under the current international situation, China's economy is developing at a high speed with which enterprises have entered the tide of world trade and native goods are flowing to every corner of the world。 As an indispensable economic interaction activity, business negotiation is turning into a global activity for both enterprises and countries。 Hence, the requirements for business etiquette is increasingly strong。 For an increasing number of enterprises, they mostly view employees’ comprehensive quality as an essential measuring standard, rather than merely concern about their professional proficiency。 Therefore etiquette is becoming one of the necessary knowledge for businessmen。 The outstanding employees with strong etiquette ability are foundation of business negotiations。 In the business activities, businessmen who follow the etiquette norms can better express respect for others and finally gain success。 By studying the functions of business etiquette, enterprises should strengthen the training of staffs’ etiquette, which can promote the building of corporate image and acquire more competitiveness in international business activities。
