China cherishes peace and harmony, which means that in daily life and work, the harmonious atmosphere is the most precious one that can guide things towards a right direction。 In the same way, the proverb can be applied to the international business negotiation。 In general impression, business negotiation is always carried out in a tense atmosphere, where both sides try to gain more benefits for themselves。 Therefore in such an atmosphere, it is difficult for both sides to make a fair decision on the final outcome of the negotiations。 In such cases, provided that one party can adjust their etiquette which is  used in negotiations to make a warm communication atmosphere, naturally the other party will relax themselves and calmly engage in it。
