从《傲慢与偏见》看性格对婚姻的影响
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all teachers who have ever taught me throughout my college years. They are all patient and inspire me to make efforts on English learning. I feel very grateful to teachers of the School of Foreign Languages who gave me direct or indirect help during my study in the college.
At last, I wish to devote this paper to my parents for their abundant cost and care on my education.
Abstract
Many people keep the idea that personality decides success or failure. We should never forget the importance of personality in our daily life. People do the personality test before they have interview. People seek for another part who meets their personality demand, which states personality plays an important role in marriage. Many famous literatures also illustrate their agreement on this opinion.
Among them, one of my favorite writers，Jane Austen is a representative figure to portray personality. I appreciate many of her works and like to read her books and watch relevant film adaptation, especially Pride and Prejudice. In this paper, I will analyze the main roles of Pride and Prejudice on their personalities and marriages from multiplicity of narrative perspectives.
The paper falls into five parts. The first part serves as an introduction. The second part gives a plain analysis on different marriages. The third part aims at analyzing examples to have an understanding on roles’ personalities. The fourth part probes the influence of personality of marriage. The fifth part functions as a conclusion.

摘要很多人认为性格决定成败，我们不能忘记性格在我们日常生活的重要性。人们在面试时候会做性格测试；在寻求另一半时会参考性格是否合适，这也说明性格在婚姻中的重要地位。许多著名的文学作品也阐述了对此观点的认同。
在其中，简奥斯丁是我最喜爱的作家之一，她是善于刻画人物性格的代表人物。我欣赏她的很多部作品，喜欢看她的书并观看改编的电影作品，尤其是《傲慢与偏见》。在论文中我将从多重叙事角度分析书中主要角色的性格与他们的婚姻。
毕业论文分为五个部分：第一部分是介绍。第二部分对书中几对婚姻对象进行了简单分析。第三部分通过着重分析几个实例来理解角色的性格特点。第四部分探究了性格对婚姻的影响。第五部分是总结。
