2.1The Concept of Ecofeminism
Ecofeminism is an important concept that combines ecology and feminism together. Meanwhile, From an interdisciplinary point of view ecofeminism is about the literature and environment. Ecofeminism develops from ecology which shows great concern over human being operation of nature, and we can compare the oppression and domination of nature to the conquest of women. In 1974, French ecofeminist Francoise in her book brought forward the term“ecofeminism”. In western ecofeminist theory, this signed the start of the study about ecofeminism. In her book the author believed that the oppression of women had some relation with the oppression of the nature. By connecting ecological exercise and the female movement together, ecofeminism decided to build a new construction of social moral value. It hoped to build a coexisting society instead of hierarchical society by arguing against almost all forms of discrimination.
