电影《刮痧》中的中西文化冲突(2)
This paper focuses on the cultural differences and conflicts between China and the United Stated in each aspect by the movie plots and character dialogues in Guasha, and the suggestions to reduce the conflicts. The movie reflects a series of existing misunderstanding related to the cultural factors, such as values, ways of thinking. To eliminate misunderstanding and create a harmonious cultural atmosphere is meaningful. Therefore, the appropriate communicative behaviors should be taken into consideration. We should feel the essence of culture with a sincere heart and with communication to resolve conflicts. More respect, more trust and more equal should be used to treat different cultures. It is believed that the conflicts caused by cultural differences will be less and less. Intercultural communication will also gradually move towards integration. Let us work together to compose the harmony between Chinese and western cultures.
It is hoped that this study will help us to understand the differences of our own culture and the western culture, and promote the harmonious development of different cultures.
