2.1The Definition of China English
Nowadays there are many views about how to definite China English, different scholars have different views. This part of the paper will introduce some important views of China English.
With the development of the global economy the globalization of English is an indisputable fact , and it comes at the expense of standard British English and American English. English in the process of accelerating globalization also brings extensive localization, such as Australian English and South African English and Singapore English. The local-colored English in their respective countries plays an important role in the diplomatic aspect. In the process of English development, this language has difference styles in different countries. Each style formed in different environment and has its own features. As a country which a lot of people learn this language China has its own features too.
In China, the reform and opening up and economic development, which makes more and more people learn and use English and promote the development of international communication. English plays an important role in many fields in China. This language just becomes the most popular foreign language in China and most schools make their students to learn it. In this background, China English research also becomes more and more important. So there are many professional scholars appeared and they begin to study this special phenomenon. In the process of research, different scholars have different definitions of the China English, such as Mr GeChuanGui 1980 " in the old China and new China, speak or write in English when there is peculiar to our country to express such as the imperial examination(科举), the academician courtyard（翰林院）, the May Fourth Movement（五四运动）、Mr. Science(赛先生)、Mr. Democracy(德先生)、two hundred policies（双百方针）、people’s communes(人民公社)、four modernization（四个现代化）. These not belong to the idiomatic phrases the English people often used. Therefore, these are considered as China English. The idea indicates that these English expressions are grammatically correct. So Mr. Ge affirmed the phenomena of China English. This result he gave is still very important today. And then in 1991 Mr Rong-pei Wang will China English was defined as "it is early used by Chinese people in the Chinese mainland which based on standard English and characterized with Chinese elements. This is an important academic point of view in the study of China English. Their study of China English can not be replaced in the history of this subject.
