 Board Writing in Elementary English Class: 

Problems and Strategies

Abstract This thesis tried to indicate the importance of board writing in elementary English class,to arouse people’s attention to board writing and to gave some suggestions of using board writing through analyzing the situation and problems in elementary English class today. My two research questions were (1) What’s the current situation of board writing in elementary English class in the era of multimedia instruction? (2) What are the problems in using board writing in elementary English class? And through observing the videos of classes which were spot in a primary school, I made two tables. One is about the classes of experienced teachers and the other is about the classes of preservice teachers. The data in the two tables is mainly about the use of board writing and multimedia instruction (PPT). Through observing and comparing these two tables, I got some information about the current situation of the board writing in elementary English class. And through analyzing the blackboard layout, I concluded the problems of using board writing. Then according to the problems I found, I listed several suggestions of using and designing board writing in elementary English class.

 小学英语课堂板书使用问题与策略

摘要在这篇论文中,通过分析目前小学英语课堂中板书的使用情况和存在的问题,我试图指出板书在小学英语课堂中的重要性,引起人们对板书的重视并给出一些板书设计的建议。我的两个研究问题分别是:(1)多媒体教学时代,小学英语课堂中板书的使用现状如何`吹冰~文-论+文'网www.chuibin.com?(2)小学英语课堂中板书使用存在的问题是什么?通过观察从一所小学拍摄的课堂录像,我将收集的数据列成两个表格,一个关于有经验的老师的课堂数据,另一个关于实习老师的课堂数据,包括板书的使用和多媒体课件(主要指PPT)的使用。通过分析和比较这两个表格,我得到了关于板书在小学英语课堂使用现状的信息。通过分析课堂板书,我概括了板书在使用过程中的问题。然后根据我发现的板书使用的问题,我列举了几个小学英语课堂板书使用的建议。
