Abstract The thesis mainly discusses the domestic researches on Jane Austen’ s view of marriage from the period 2000 to 2014. It tries to analyze main changes in the researches on Austen’ s view of marriage in 2000-2014 and tries to find the trends of academic researches during the period. Researches have analyzed Austen’ s view of marriage from various perspectives with the change of time. And the significance of Austen’ value of marriage has been paid attention to, while Austen has also been connected with other female writers abroad and domestically.58232

1. Introduction

     The thesis is to make a brief review on the domestic research on Jane Austen’ s view of marriage in 2000-2014 and tries to find changes during the period and shares some ideas on the possible developmental trends in 2000-2014

   The thesis consists of eight parts.The first part is a brief introduction of the paper while the second one is a brief literature review. The third part is the discussion of the diachronic developments of the research on Austen’ s view of marriage. This part is pided into three sections according to the order of time and features in the development during different period. The fourth part is about specific points that the writer wants to share and discuss in analyzing the research on Austen’ s view of marriage. The fourth part is pided into to two sections. The former talks about contrasts between other female writers both abroad and domestically and the latter talks about contrasts on Austen’ novels used in the research.The fifth part is the conclusion part. And the rest ones are bibliography, an index of papers and books related to the topic and the acknowledgments.
