The significance of the study is that English learners can not only know themselves more clearly and help themselves to develop their advantages and overcome their disadvantages on studying English; but also the teachers are supported by the relevant research about how to educate different students with the distinct ways; much more is that it will produce the development of the local English language teaching and elevate the enrollment rate and the quality of teaching.
The first part is that it introduces the present situation of the local English learners, who study in the high school, introduces the significance of the research paper, and states the present situation on gender difference for English learners in senior high school or on gender difference for studying language at home and at abroad. The second part is that the research paper analyses the research design and results which come from the students’ scores and the survey. The third part and the forth part are that the research paper analyses how the gender difference influence students’ grades from the three internal factors: the physiological character, the motivation of studying English and personal perception of studying English. The last part is the conclusion which states gender difference in the impact of the senior high school students learning English is an objective reality, and the teachers should respect gender difference and educate them with their genders.
