Finally, we can apply the theory of positive psychology to primary English teaching。 Combining with three sections of positive psychology through the analysis of the status:the theory of positive emotions, positive personality and positive system, we can try to build a positive atmosphere in primary English teaching。

2。Literature review

2。1 Origin of positive psychology

     The thought of positive psychology has long been,which can be traced back to the humanist philosophy advocated by Maslow, Rogers and others 。This trend of theory has had a profound impact on modern psychology, causing psychologists’ attention to the positive side of mental activity to some extent。 It was not until the late 20th century, this idea was built up systematically by the famous American psychologist Sierra Gehman and given new life。 During working as the president of the American Psychological Association , positive psychology is seen as one of his most important mission。 It is his efforts that contribute to the impact of positive psychology has expanding from America to Canada, Europe, Japan and Australia etc。,attracting the attention of scholars in various fields all over the word。文献综述

     Martin E。P。Seligman and MihalyCsikszentmihalyi suggested that "We believe that the commitment to explore the human positive psychology is about to rise”。(Seligman and Csikszentmihalyi 2000:5-14)。It will provide scientific conceps and effective measures for us to build positive personality,family and society。Positive psychology’s goal is to find and nurture talent and make our normal life more fulfilling and meaningful, not just the treatment of mental illness。 It appears not to replace the traditional psychology, but to make it more rich and complete。 It puts more emphasis on the use of scientific methods to explore the positive sense。

2。2 Development of positive psychology

     Positive psychology has accumulated a large amount of data and supporting documentation in this decade。And also improve itself gradually to establish a large number of international organizations, foundations, research centers, conferencing systems, discipline projects and so on。

In 2002, Oxford University Press officially published the "Positive Psychology Handbook" edited by SrIyder, C。R。 and Lopez, Shane J。The manual has a total of 55 articles that makes a systematic summary of positive psychology’s research achievement in various fields in recent years。 Then many influential positive psychology books come out, the most important are: Sierra Krugman's " Authentic Happiness " , Aspinwall, Lisa G & Stauginger, U。M’s "A Psychology of Human Strengths ", Keyes, C。M & Haidt, Jonathan’s "Hourishing: positive Psychology and the life Well-Lived ", Snyder, C。R and Lopez, Shane J。’s "positive Psychological Assessment: a Handbook ofModels and Measures ", Levine, Marvin ‘s" The Positive Psychology of Buddhism and Yoga ", Cart Alan’s " Positive Psychology:The Science of Happiness and Human Strenths " (Seligman et al 2005,4-11)   

     From the beginning of 2006, some of the world-renowned universities such as the University of East London have set up some majors of master degree about positive psychology and it gradually becomes a formal curriculum of many schools。 At Harvard University, positive psychology has become one of the most popular curriculums among students。 In 2008, Positive Psychology Center of Pennsylvania University cooperates with the 150-year-old Geelong Grammar, Victoria, Australia to complete the positive psychology training for a year and now the school has become top-tier school of  positive psychology in the world。 In Canada, Professor Charles Hackney of Briexcrest College applied positive psychology to topics of achieving personal growth through military skills training。 Positive Psychology Center- Pennsylvania University established the world's first master's degree of positive psychology (MAPP) in the school。 The institute of positive psychology created the Templeton Prize, attracting outstanding young psychologists all over the world。 With the constant improvement of positive psychology system, positive psychology began to emerge in a series of social events and played a significant role。来,自,优.尔:论;文*网www.chuibin.com +QQ752018766-
