Abstract Under the impact of TV and network culture in the 21st century, parents pay more attention to children’s physical and mental development。 Fostering children’s independent spirit and personal interest is a good response to the Internet Age, which has a great relationship with children reading aesthetic。 Child literature in China started late, so the introduction and spread of foreign child literature constitutes an important part of the development of Chinese child literature。 It is a key requirement of the new curriculum standard that child literature teaching plays an important role in primary school English learning。 The development of child literature teaching in primary school not only makes the primary school English education more suitable for students’ language learning psychological characteristics, but also can improve the students’ cultural literacy and English ability effectively。 Learning English through a lot of reading is an important part of English education in primary school。 In this thesis, the author makes a comparison of the differences between Chinese and Western children’s literature to illustrate the characteristics of Western children works, which are suitable for Chinese children’s reading in many aspects。 Through the reading of Western child literature, the author illustrates the influence of child literature on children education。76494

摘要在电视文化和网络文化的冲击下,家长更加重视了儿童身心的全面发展。培养孩子的独立精神和美好的个人情趣是面对网络时代的良好对策,而这一点与孩子从小的阅读审美有着很大的关系。新课程标准的重点要求中也提出儿童文学教程在小学英语教学中具有重要意义。在小学英语教学中开展儿童文学教学,不但使小学英语教育更加适合学生的英语学习心理特征,而且还能够逐步提升小学生的文化素养和英语能力。通过大量的阅读来进行英语学习也成为了小学生学习英语和英语教育的一个主要内容,而英语教学中的阅读资源的一个重要来源就是儿童文学作品。我国儿童文学起步较晚,因此外国儿童文学的引进和传播就构成了中国儿童文学发展的重要内容。在本文中作者通过比较中西方儿童文学的差异,进一步说明了西方儿童作品的特点,以及它在诸多方面都适合中国儿童的阅读。并通过对西方儿童文学的解读,阐述了其对儿童教育的影响。
