Title Research Summary recognition method based on
radical innovation of patent citations structure
Abstract
This paper aims to study recognition method of radical innovation based on the patent citation structure. Although there are many theories to explore the radical innovation, but in the theoretical and empirical literature rarely about patent structure of radical innovation recognition method. This paper hopes through empirical investigation to study, first carries on the understanding to the radical innovation concept, characteristic, main content analysis of patent citation structure, will break the innovation and patent references structure corresponding to up form structure of radical innovation method of three recognition patent citation: respectively related science degree index, interdisciplinary index and new technology index. Then the radical innovation has been verified, mainly through downloading USTPO data to empirical analysis. Finally two breakthrough innovation index identification process and results of the of contrast and deficiencies are reflection, summed up their respective advantages and disadvantages of the two indicators to identify ways and for future based on patent citation structure of breakthrough innovation and recognition to provide some basis.
