Title The preparation of polyethylene wax emulsion and the Research of its coating
Abstract
The wax is an important component of the color polymerization toner, the main function is to help the toner detachment from the heat fixing drum, and enhance the dispersion of pigment and charge control agent .This paper mainly involves two aspects, firstly ,the emulsification of the polyethylene wax, we explore the effect of different types of composite emulsifier and the amount of emulsifier on the emulsion stability and particle size; secondly, emulsion polymerization with styrene-acrylic resin coated with polyethylene wax, and in this aspect, we discussed the effect of different amount of emulsifier on the performance of the coated particle .

1 绪论
聚合彩色墨粉是彩色激光打印机及数码复印机的重要耗材，市场需求很大，产品及生产技术被国企业垄断，我国目前尚不能生产质量达到使用要求的聚合法彩色墨粉，因此，聚合法彩色墨粉的制备研究具有十分重要的意义。“乳液聚合法制备彩色墨粉关键技术”2009年被列为863国家重点计划项目。蜡是彩色聚合墨粉的重要组成部分，主要功能是帮助墨粉从热定影鼓上脱离，增强颜料及电荷控制剂的分散性。彩色墨粉的低温定影、无油定影需要较多量的蜡，而游离的蜡会污染感光鼓，降低耐久性和图像质量。采用树脂包覆蜡，对蜡进行密封，形成核壳结构，可有效解决蜡的用量和游离问题，提高彩色墨粉的应用性能。本文涉及的课题可解决一部分聚合彩色墨粉制备中的关键技术问题。例如:1.研究PE蜡的纳米乳化分散技术，包括乳化剂的选型、用量，要求乳胶粒子粒径≤100nm，分散稳定；2.苯丙树脂包覆聚乙烯蜡的工艺技术研究，包括乳化剂的选型、用量等。
