Title The design and simulation of digital converter Based on FPGA
Abstract
This article is designed to achieve digital mixer and lowEpass filter used in a digital
down conversion module.LowEpass filter includes integral comb filter, finite
impulse response filter and halfEband filter. Integral comb filter has no
multiplication.It is easy implementation and computing convenient. FIR filter is of
a direct form. And the half band filter is a kind of special FIR filter .So we can
simply change the coefficients of the FIR to complete the design. And the mixer is
the based on the direct digital frequency synthesis and multiplication. There is
only a introduction of multiplication.
The design process uses three software which contains QuartusII, Matlab /
Simulink and DSP Builder and takes full advantage of the conversion between
them. First,we use Simulink preliminary to get structural configuration and
simulation.Then use accordance with the idea to construct a new model to get the
model file, use Signalcomplier in DSP Builder to convert it into VHDL language,
compiled then you can download to the hardware.
