Humanism in the Poetry of Corvee and War of the Book of Songs
Abstract: War and corvee are important parts of the theme of the Book of Songs, this subject of poetry from the side reflects the existing situations that people had to face the harsh reality at that time. These war and corvee poems usually from the point of humanist care to focus on ordinary people survival struggle, and the deep pain over the implication of the poem, showing a distinctive emotional depth and poetic unique beauty. The concerns about individual emotions , the rich longing for home, the fate of patriotic feelings and yearning for a peaceful and better future all embody the deep humanistic care. This spirit not only benefits us to understand the ancient humanistic style and features, but also has some certain enlightenment to modern society.
