2。1 Relevant Studies on Official Robes

Official robe is mainly researched by historians and sociologists in China。 The Study of Ancient Chinese Clothing and Ornaments is a great work, which agglomerates Shen Congwen。 The book, ordered by chronology, researches system of ancient Chinese official robes and the relationship between social-material life and ideology, and introduces ancient Chinese official robes’ style, color and evolution in details (Shen, 2005)。 And Chinese Ancient Clothes generally summarize the ancient clothes characteristics and their connotations (Wang, 2003)。 Besides, Chinese Man’s Clothes, from a different perspective, focusing on man’s clothes in ancient China, tries to investigate historical cultures at that time (Chen, 2011)。
