Abstract As we all know, interest is very important in language learning。 However, many middle school students are lack of interest in the course of learning English。 They show little passion in English which leads to low teaching efficiency。 Therefore, based on the analysis of the current situation of some middle schools in Yunnan Province, the thesis points out the necessity of cultivating students’ interest in learning English。 It also elaborates that teachers should set students as main roles and select appropriate teaching strategies according to students’ practical situations to stimulate students’ interest, develop their self-confidence, self-esteem and personality and eventually improve teaching efficiency。 93655

摘要众所周知,在学习中,兴趣非常重要,但是许多学生在学习英语的过程中缺乏学习兴趣,学习积极性不高,以至于学习成绩不理想。基于此,本文对云南省部分中学英语教学现状分析的基础上,指出培养初中生英语学习兴趣的必要性,并详细阐述了教师要根据学生的实际情况,以学生为主体,选用一系列能够激起学生学习兴趣的教学方法和策略来培养初中生学习英语的兴趣,从而提高教学效果,使学生树立爱学,乐学的信心,实现自尊,自信和个性健康发展。

1。 Introduction 

All the time, many famous educationists proposed lots of claims on the importance of interest。 The research of study interest never stopped。 Psychologists believe that interest is a kind of personality trait, and it is a psychological tendency of understanding certain things positively or being fond of activities。 Tolstoy claimed that the results of the teaching are not required to force, but to stimulate the interest of students。 Teaching practice has shown that interest in learning not only serves as support, but also a huge psychological power to promote students’ progress。 It is also the best catalyst for the development of thinking。 Only students are interested in learning, will they take the initiative to learn, to explore the inquiry, to be creative, and to study gladly。 The Russia educationist Ushinski thinks that without interest in mandatory study, students’ desire for knowledge will be stifled。 However, with the fierce competition of the modern society, middle school students’ interest is never got enough attention。 Most middle school students learn English in a utilitarian aim of achieving great grade or scholarship。 What’s more, most schools set students in boring and tedious excessive assignments, and neglect students’ interest in learning。来自优I尔Q论T文D网WWw.YoueRw.com 加QQ7520~18766
