从电影《推手》看中美家庭文化冲突(2)

Hsu (1981) focused on the differences between Chinese and western cultures and the various emotion patterns and ways of life of people; Lawrence Stone (1994) carried on the studies from the political importance of families and its internal structure. In China, the study of this field has also got much attention. For instance, Wang Yujuan(2007) tried to point out that Chinese and American share distinct and discrepant family value viewpoints. Although the above authors have described many things about the differences of Sino-US family culture conflict, some points still have been missed, for example, the concrete behaviors of conflict on different aspects, and the description is too abstract to understand. Therefore, in this paper, The author will start with the film Pushing Hands, combine with the behaviors and dialogues in this film, and then make an analysis.
