Lexis. put forward the concept of “communicative competence”, which can be pided into four parts: The grammar knowledge, psychological language knowledge, social and cultural knowledge and the actual existence of knowledge (39). Ellis said that when we talk about language teaching in the communicative language ability, we’re really talking about the communicative use of language and communicative language ability which refers to the ability of second language or communicative act especially when we determine the teaching purpose which we are interested in or not (128). While the measures to weight down the language learner’s communicative ability are the results of the application of language. In other word, they are people usually say: Listening, saying, reading, writing, and translation skills are the five skills in foreign language learning. Among these five basic skills, “saying” is the most difficult part for the senior high school students. It can be said, students’ communicative competence mainly fastens on oral expression ability.
According to this phenomenon, Becker also pointed out that through the rule-based learning and examplar-based learning the learner can develop interlanguage. This is a good way to improve the learner’s learning efficiency (200).
This research will be carried out through a series of experiments. The experiments can be pided into two groups, one group using the traditional English teaching method called the control class, the other using chunks called the experimental class. This paper mainly explores the teaching of lexical chunks in oral English communication of senior high school.

II. Literature Review  

There are many studies about chunks lexical. In foreign language teaching, however, vocabulary studying has long been neglected by most of the scholars and experts until the 1980s. With the development of language corpus, it has been revealed that there are a large number of prefabricated chunks in human language. Recent ten years has seen an increased interest in the research of lexical chucks. The researches mainly focus on the field of vocal communication teaching. There are lots of researchers and English teachers who also turn their attentions to pieces of lexical chunks research and try to implement it into their English class.
