Abstract The society is developing all the time and English is more important than before. The English teaching is closely related to the psychological character of the students in junior middle schools. It is quite significant and necessary to study the teaching ways. T In the process of teaching, teachers have to design teaching plans elaborately to stimulate students’ interest by using some new and perse teaching means. They can activate their thinking with interest and arouse their attention of learning. In this way, it will mobilize fully the students’ learning enthusiasm and make them participate actively in the classrooms. Then they will become real masters of the class. This thesis mainly introduces the methods of cultivating the interest of learning English in middle schools and the application of cultivating students’ interest in learning English in middle schools. And then it emphasizes the importance of carrying out the interesting methods in English classrooms in junior middle schools.

I. Introduction
As is known to all, English is commonly used all over the world and it is the minimization of the whole world just like a big family. It is a commercial language which is used for international communication. In the recent 20 years, the English teaching has entered into a new stage. More and more children are beginning to learn English. Therefore, it is necessary to find some more effective teaching methods for the Chinese students. However, English teaching in junior middle schools is not an easy thing. Especially, some students have lost interest in English and show negative attitude towards English learning. The teachers always complain that it is difficult to improve students’ scores. So effective methods can make the English teaching smoothly and improve students’ interest in learning English.
