Abstract According to the requirements of the new curriculum reform, the situational teaching is an innovative teaching method which aims at cultivating the students’ comprehensive linguistic competence。   76488

The majority of students in our country lack an English language learning environment, and the traditional indoctrination teaching method makes pupils learn English without context, both of which barricade their physical and mental development。 Thus, by creating various situations for pupils, taking them as the principal part of teaching and guiding them to learn English in the language context, teachers can help pupils cultivate their learning interest, enhance their self-confidence and improve their practical ability as well as communicative ability。 However, there exit some limitations when teachers apply the situational teaching method。 Based on the students’ learning features and the problems which appear in the primary school English class when teachers create the situations, this article sums up the principles of situational teaching and discusses its application in different types of primary school English class to stimulate students’ learning interest and guide pupils flexibly to apply knowledge into real life。

摘要情景教学法是在新课改的要求之下,以“培养学生的综合语言运用能力”为目标而形成的一种创新式的教学方法。由于我国大多数小学生缺乏学习英语的语言环境,传统的灌输式的教学方式使得学生在无语境的情况下学习英语,枯燥的学习不利于小学生的身心健康发展。因此,教师在课堂中为小学生创设情景,以小学生为教学主体,引导他们在语境中学习英语,有利于培养学生的学习兴趣,增强自信心,提高实践能力和交际能力。然而,教师在运用情景教学法的过程中,也存在着一定的不足。本文针对教师在小学英语课堂中创设情境时所出现的问题,结合小学生的学习特点,总结出情境创设的原则。同时,按照小学英语的课型种类,探讨小学英语情景教学法在不同课型中的运用方法,以避免教师在运用过程中出现形式化等问题,真正提高学生的学习兴趣,引导学生将所学知识灵活运用于生活实际中。
