In the middle school English teaching, teachers can make students master English language rules better and improve the level of students’ English grammar knowledge through strengthening grammar teaching。 Due to the lack of English language environment students cannot use the English grammar knowledge well in daily life; and students can only learn English grammar in the classroom。 English is a communication method, and it includes listening, speaking, reading and writing, which are the most important。 Grammar plays an important role in English teaching, so students want to say or write English correctly。 As the main content of grammar teaching in middle school English, grammar is very difficult for the teachers to teach。 It is important for English teachers to how to make English grammar teaching better for middle school and how to improve the effect of middle school English classroom teaching。 It is a problem that worth more reflection。 Grammar teaching has always been the focus of discussion in the middle school English teaching。 Middle school English new curriculum standard gives grammar teaching a new position and it calls for reform practice to the interpretation of traditional grammar teaching mode。 

The new teaching idea emphasizes the cultivation of students’ ability to use English grammar, so teachers will adopt various grammar-teaching methods。 It will stimulate students’ interest in learning English and develop their understanding of using language。 At the same time, students should understand the English grammar teaching。 It is not the purpose of English teaching, but a means to improve their English communication ability in actual application。 So, in the actual English teaching, English teachers need to adopt what kind of method to carry out the English grammar teaching and they also need to give full consideration to the material of English grammar teaching, the students’ knowledge foundation, and many other factors。 Particular case is particular analysis, it is important for teachers to help to achieve students’ grammar ability and improve students’ English communicative competence of synchronously, realize win-win situation of grammar teaching and English teaching effect。

2。1 The Status of the English Grammar Teaching

The so-called grammar and language rules are abstract from a large number of actual uses of speaking and writing。 It is a linguistic phenomenon of continuous development and change of scientific summary, which reveals the rule of inflections and phrasing。 Understanding of the grammar can cultivate learner’s correct understanding of English and improve the ability to use English accurately。 Learning English means to use English or to listen, speak, read and write in English。 Grammar is indispensable to learn and use the language。 

In China, the mother tongue isn’t English so that Chinese students study English from learning English language form, without mastering the grammar knowledge and then students are impossible to learn the foreign language very well。 In the teaching, teachers make students learn and master the rules of English language form to improve the efficiency of English learning, and it will promote their abilities to use English in writing。 Students will be improved in oral communication ability, and they use English for communication (Xiao 153)。 

Middle school students’ characteristics and inpidual differences require that teachers must develop English grammar teaching。 As the growth of the age, the students’ logical thinking begins to dominate and gives priority to strong logical thinking, which will be prepared for the theory of psychological preparation。 Students have a strong motivation to study grammar and self-study ability, but not all the students like do this。 This requires the teacher to provide necessary assistance to students and carry out the grammar teaching。
