2。2 The Problems of English Grammar Teaching文献综述

Grammar teaching plays a very important role in middle school English class。 It is affected by the improvement of teaching level in English。 English grammar teaching in China is mainly done in high school, covers most of grammar teaching content。 English grammar teaching is the basis of English learning; in addition, English grammar is very important to secondary school。 With the continuous improvement of our country middle school English grammar teaching, students’ ability is improved。 Most of the students have a good knowledge of English grammar。 Knowledge is printed but the students should make better use of knowledge, even if students have a lot of theory knowledge but it is not enough without good practice。 Therefore, there are still some problems in the process of practice。 

2。2。1 Grammar Dilution

Firstly, the grammar becomes more desalinated。 Some English teachers in middle school English teaching excessive emphasize the dominated position of students in the English teaching class。 The entire English lesson for all English speaking practice and performance activities are important。 Teachers rarely involve the grammatical knowledge in English classroom teaching。 The dilution of grammar teaching method, on the surface, improves the students’ English listening and speaking skills。 But the student can not accurately understand and master English language rules (Quan 88)。 Affected by the dilution of grammar teaching thought, many teachers would even think that grammar teaching is a product of exam-oriented education。 It has been seriously out of date。 This is a misunderstanding to the teaching of English grammar。 English grammar is the foundation of English learning; students who only firm grasp of the fundamentals of mechanics can promote the improvement of English listening and speaking skills better。 

2。2。2 The Absence of Context

Nowadays, many teachers make the student practice more。 They use the theory rules, and the teaching mode of communication。 Even if they avoid direct interpretation of the rules of grammar examples sometimes, and let the students imitate as much as possible。 Teachers make students practice alone or group practice。 Classroom climate seems to be very active。 Students are also interested to learn, and then the teacher teaches grammar rules and usage。 The teachers are full of passion, students worked so hard to remember。 But the teaching effect how? Language sense is very important for junior middle school students。 It is the expression of language training to Practice makes perfect。 People have a good sense of language, so their comprehension will also be very good。 Listening to others can stress the essentials, language expression is smooth, and foreign language learning efficiency is also high (Hu 78)。 Some teachers based on a narrow understanding of the language sense, they want to let the students learn the text。 Teachers want students to repeat knowledge to improve students’ oral English ability, to cultivate good sense of language。 So students will not be scared when they have English tests。 According to this method, they will improve the listening, speaking, reading and writing, and they don’t have to learn those boring grammar。 The fact is that students recited many sentences but not understand what is the structure of these sentences, let alone understand what is the main clause, what is a subordinate clause。 Students can not say or write a complete sentence by themselves。 So the further development of language skills will be limited。
