II. Concept and Features of Oral English Teaching
        Facing the situation of oral English teaching of our country, we are urgent to put forward solutions to solve these problems, but firstly,we should know the standards of oral English teaching. Next it is going to talk the concept and features of Oral English teaching.
2.1 The Concept of Oral English Teaching
    The goal of English teaching is to cultivate the students to have the ability of handling English in listening, speaking and writing, according to the preplanned teaching materials. But the purpose of oral English teaching is to train the ability of oral communication, which is also the goal of English teaching. As the economy is developing, oral English teaching draws more and more attention and becomes more and more important, so to strengthen the intensity of oral English teaching and improve the ability of listening and speaking is not only the tendency of contemporary English teaching, but also the way to enhance the quality of our country’s English teaching.
    What’s the oral English teaching? If we want to know well about it, firstly, we should know what is spoken- language. In broad sense, spoken language is the language spoken by the organs of human’s body. In narrow sense, it refers to the language used during the oral communication. From the point of sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics, spoken language is an interpersonal communicational action stimulated by society and  under the control of psychological mechanism. At the same time, it is also the way to express their mind.
With the development of contemporary linguistics, Skinner’s behaviorism theory, cognitive linguistics and other disciplines, the importance of oral communicative ability has been accepted by more and more people. More and more people have realized that English is a language which is a tool used to communicate. Learning English is to master the language rules and some language skills to fulfill the purpose of communication, and vice, it will lose the significance of learning English, so oral English teaching has become an important part of English teaching. Oral English teaching aims at making students transform their acquired knowledge of language to the process of oral communication. Oral English teaching not only makes students systematically grasp daily English expressions and sense of language in its culture, but also is more able to the formation and improvement of students’ critical thinking skills, with the development of thinking by utilizing their knowledge and the ability of putting forward questions. Oral English teaching is under the guidance of the theory of oral teaching and in certain situation, teachers take proper teaching materials and various teaching modes to cultivate and train the ability of students’ oral communicative skills, and make the students shuttle the knowledge of language, which they acquire before, and output the maim content which center upon language. Any oral English teaching includes purpose, content, ways, methods, organization, effects of teaching, and so on. At the same time, Oral English teaching is also under the influence of social atmosphere, guiding thought, types of school, teaching structures and so on.
2.2 Features of Oral English Teaching
    As a real, daily and communicative language, spoken language should have three basic features: First, spoken language should have more local characteristics and social varieties. Second, it is more intrapersonal. Third, spoken language delivers message by stimulating the opposite person’s auditory system, because it is vocal. Oral English teaching includes not only basic oral features, but also other features.

    The content of oral English teaching is very comprehensive, which includes not only that it teaches students how to speak in the class, but also that it make s assure that students have more opportunities to practice themselves after school. So the university and ductility are the maim features of oral English teaching.
