Effect of pH on LiFePO4
Abstract:The cathode materials are widely either used LiCoO2 or LiMnO2 because of the high reversible capacities.However, LiCoO2 is toxic and causes collapse of construction for overcharge.LiMnO2 are limiting for the cycling and thermal stability.Lithium iron phosphate(LiFePO4) has been regarded as one of the most promising cathode materials,due to its lower cost,improved safety, highly reversible and repeatable property, this material was intended for Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV) and plug—in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV).However, due to the low electronic conductivity and ionic diffusion coefficient of lithium LiFePO4,the rate charge and discharge performance is poor, which limits its application in hybrid cars. With the deepening of research, research on the effects of pH on the performance of LiFePO4 caused people's concern. Experiments with FeSO4、NH4H2PO4、LiOH and C6H17N3O7 as raw materials, using hydrothermal synthesis high performance of LiFeP04 cathode material and discusses the influence of pH value on the preparation and properties.
