Abstract
In this paper, the nano vinyl silicone resin(NVSR)particles were synthesized by vinyltrimethoxysilane with basic as catalyst. The water /monomers ratio, reaction time and other conditions on the effect of silicon resin preparation were investigated. The structure and performance of NVSR was confirmed by FT-IR spectroscopes, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The results show that the prepared vinyl silicone resin particles were nanometer grade and with excellent heat resistance.
The vinyl silicone resin particles were modified using mercaptoacetic acid via click chemistry method. By FT-IR, TGA, dispersion experiment on click product, the results show that the mercaptoacetic acid wassuccessfully grafted on vinyl silicone resin.
