General information of design
200,000 sets per year PP/EPDM front and rear panels workshop process design was described in this article. According to the requirements of this design,every segments were completed with the reference of relevant data. The recipe was given out firstly as to meet the requirement for products qulity, and also the shaping method was decided. Then the parameters in the gross process and palletizing technique were provided, which was also the basis of devices determing. Finally, the content of the design was gradually completed through the calculation of the material balance, energy balance and non-plant technology, economic accounting, plant layout, etc.
According to this special material (PP/EPDM), relative aid-agents were listed and compared their properties in detail, such as fillers, accelerators and antioxidants. Then the optimum recipe was chosen, suitable aid agents were selected and ratios of every component were provided. In the meantime, the production factory and price were determined.
The molding process was emphasized, and the injection molding process was chosen. Further, the multi-rate injection method was adopted, which combined the advantages of high-speed and low-speed injection, made good use of shaping, fit to processing complex products, and be suitable to adapt the flow changes of sections of runners and mold cavity. For the whole process, the parameters were provided, including processing temperature, pressure and the cycle time. And then the palletizing technique was introduced. The influence of different feeding turn on the properties of pellets was analyzed.
